In recent years we have seen Calle Larios turned into a Gothic cathedral, creating lights in the form of vaults with motifs of moons and stars or forming stained glass windows and domes. But this year, surprises us again with a new lighting of 16 angels walking through one of the most emblematic streets of the city.

The lighting of the Christmas lights 2022 in Malaga it will be on Saturday 26 November, a las 19.00 hours, in what has become one of the most crowded events of the year in the historic centre, attracting visitors from all over the province and, incluso, other Andalusian provinces. Este año, además, with the novelty of that will change the design of the lights from the calle Larios and the plaza de la Constitución, with a structure of 16 angels that fly over this wonderful street in 32 side columns, and a tree wrapped in them too. These incredible angels are made up of tails of 12 meters long, designed with effervescent effects and embellished with dichroic leaf glitter to also look good during the day. Además, is maintained andl musical show to the rhythm of Christmas lights, which will be repeated three times a day, a las 19.00, 20:30 and to the 22.00 hours.
The Larios street lights will remain on from Sunday to Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and from Thursday to Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. 26 from november to 6 de enero. The days 24 y 31 December, none of the musical shows will take place, but the lights will stay on until 6am.
To this wonderful scenery, It is joined by the video mapping of the south tower of the Cathedral and the light show with drones that can be seen from the Palmeral de las Sorpresas, the Plaza de la Marina, Gibralfaro and Pier One.
The video mapping shows are at 19.00, 20.30 and 10:00 p.m., and will take place between 27 November to 4 de enero, except 24 and the 31 from December. It will take place between the intersection of Molina Lario street and Postigo de los Abades street. In it, Christmas motifs will be projected with nods to the flavors and smells of Malaga, and train sounds, reindeer, rattles, bells, etc.
The drone show opens on the day 3 December at 8:00 p.m., and the days will be realized 4, 6, 7 y 9 December at the same time. The last pass will be 23 December at 8:30 p.m.. This show is a great novelty for this year, and Christmas images will be represented for what will be used 120 drones in unison that will be located in the cruise terminal area.
Another of the places that make Malaga special due to its route are the Lights of the Botanical Garden. In it a light tour is carried out that will allow the visitor to accompany the three wise men on a journey next to the Eastern Star. This route is illuminated by millions of 2.2km Monday points. This show will premiere on 26 November.
